DATA MANAGEMENT MIFAR MIFAR is a set of software tools for storing medical image data along with other associated post-image processing files, physiologic records, lab notes, etc. In addition to storing the data, MIFAR provides a framework for batch processing of image data. The heart of the system is a relational database that coordinates the activities of multiple small server programs spread across a network. FTP Site This FTP server is used to hold data that needs to be exchanged between our lab and our collaborators. If you need access please call 319-356-8376. Keep in mind that anyone who has access to the site may read and write to any of the files stored on the server. This means that it is not an appropriate place to store confidential information or data. This site is not backed and files are automatically removed 4 months after their creation date. Network Drives In Windows the network shares that host our lab's data, including office documents, CT-data, and software programs, are available as mapped network drives. Access is limited to lab members who have network accounts on our local computer system. |
