      Visual Studio .NET

      Microsoft's development environment. Funded by UI Campus Agreement.
      Matlab

      Commercial development environment for algorithm development, data visualization, data analysis, and numeric computation. Available for Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux.

      The lab maintains a ten seat license server, so up to ten people may run Matlab at any given time. We also have two licenses for the Image Processing Toolbox, which provides algorithms and graphical tools for image processing, analysis, visualization, and algorithm development.
      DDD

      GNU DDD is a graphical front-end for command-line debuggers. Besides standard front-end features such as viewing source texts, DDD has become famous through its interactive graphical data display, where data structures are displayed as graphs. Manual and software available on-line.
      CVS [server]

      CVS is an open source version control and collaboration system. Provides source code control. Developers can check code in and out of the CVS server, which tracks information about changes made to the files in the repository. Hosted by I-CLIC for use with all major software development projects (MIFAR, PASS, TSIA, and others).

      In the near future we will beging migration to Subversion.
      Subversion [server]

      Also referred to as SVN, Subversion is an open-source revision control system, which aims to be a compelling replacement for CVS. Our collaborators, VIDA Diagnostics and labs within the Collage of Engineering, maintain Subversion servers.
      TortoiseCVS

      A CVS client that lets you work with files under version control directly from Windows Explorer. Freely available under the GPL here.
      TortoiseSVN

      TortoiseSVN is a Subversion client, implemented as an extension to Windows Explorer. Licensed under the GPL . Information and download at the project web page.
